Training and Workplace Learning
We design and develop workplace training programs on soft-skills topics like customer service and time management, and technical topics, such as software usage and scientific instruments. We design learner and facilitator materials for instructor-led classes, as well as self-paced online learning modules. We follow industry-standard instructional design principles that take into account adult learning theory.

Blended Learning Program.
The Minnesota Department of Health, Family Home Visiting Program, required staff from a variety of social services agencies across the State to use a standard approach to family assessment and care planning. Catalyst developed a 12-module course for home visit staff that included a trainer guide, participant guide, presentations, handouts, and e-learning lessons and tests. We also delivered a train-the-trainer session.
Online Training Manual.
The Minnesota Department of Education needed a guidebook to help teachers understand legislation and eligibility requirements for children to receive special education funding. Catalyst developed a 500-page online manual; led a usability test; and developed job aids, glossary, charts, and graphics.
