Nancy E. Weiss, M.Ed.

Nancy founded Catalyst Consulting Group, LLC in 2006 to help organizations grow and excel by offering customized solutions to performance, learning, and information sharing needs. Nancy has extensive experience in organization development, training design, and knowledge development. She has helped over 90 clients with more than 150 projects within the government, nonprofit, and business sectors since 1987.

  •  When you work with Nancy, you can expect a warm, down-to-earth style that sets people at ease. She is a deep listener who inspires confidence and trust by drawing on her wide knowledge and experience.  She values capacity building and sharing knowledge with her clients and adheres to a collaborative project process model that cultivates the professional growth of all team members.
  • Nancy bases the work of her firm in the latest research and methods that reflect best practices and industry standards, yet tailors them for each project. Nancy views her work in workplace performance from a “systems” or holistic perspective. She borrows principles from Lean Six Sigma, particularly those that focus on data collection and analysis in order to improve processes and efficiency and to eliminate wasteful practices. Instead of adopting a one-time or short-term improvement, she encourages her clients to implement continuous improvement assessment practices.
  • Nancy continually grows her skills through professional development opportunities offered through memberships in the International Society for Performance Improvement (ISPI), American Society for Training and Development (ASTD), and the Minnesota Organizational Development Network. Nancy holds a Master of Education degree in Instructional Systems and Technology from the University of Minnesota with an emphasis in Training and Development.
